This is Gena's second year at  Monroe Academy, but her 9th year in education.

Mrs. Howell is the media specialist and teaches Library Skills and the Joy of reading.

She is the Jr. class sponsor and is on the PTA committee.

In her spare time she enjoys doing arts and crafts.

Gena is married to Mike Howell and has two sons, Michael  and Austin.
